Fossils are what are left of an animal or plant that lived a long time ago.  Fossils are found in rocks, earth, or clay.  The bones and footprints of dinosaurs are fossils.

Sam is a scientist that studies fossils. He has found an amber  and  the oldest American mastodon fossil ever found ,  and he was just a kid.

The fossils that Sam found are：amber ,  American mastodon fossil ,  plants ’fossil and the fossil of a raindrop.

Fossils  are  important  because  we  can  learn  what  had happened  in  the  past.
